2. Co-Pilot - Background Information

This is your first job at a scheduled airline, you have 700 hours flight time, 250 of it on jets and this is your second trip as 737 co-pilot. You came top of your class qualifying on the simulator, and graduated from your flying school with honours. You trained in Texas. You wrote an essay on Human Factors (in Flying) which gained you the Boeing Advanced Training Gold Award. You think Captains who gained their basic flying qualification before Human Factors was an exam, pose a serious risk and are mostly out of date. You’ve never met one yet to thinks the subject of much importance. You were trained that all gauges should be treated as functioning correctly until they can be examined on the ground, they must never be ignored.
